Nusa Dua Underwater Clean up 2011

On 24 September 2011 we have successfully conducted a series of undewater clean up day at the Tanjung Benoa (Nusa Dua) area of Bali. There were 6 divers joining the dives. Tanjung Benoa area is tourist busiest area for water sport activities. Hundreds or more beginner divers dive in this area every day. That a lot of marine debris at the beach and underwater.

The reason why we choose the Tanjung Benoa (Nusa Dua) area, we have been constantly monitoring the area for debris, coral health and coverage, and trying to locate sharks presents. This was our second Project Aware underwater cleanup since last year.

We conducted underwater clean up dive at Karang Jahe – one of the most popular dive site in this area. At this point we found plastics, fishing nets, drinking bottles, food wraps and much more at underwater environment. On some items the coral growing, some fishes lives in side like on tires, bottles and some cables, but these material now has become a new home for some creatures. So we did not pick up any debris, hence we did some data recording on the debris that were not picked-up.

If you’re like the Dive Guru, you’re passionate about your diving. In fact, you can’t keep it to yourself – you simply have to share.

Scuba Diving Vacation In Bali

Tropical Indonesian island of Bali is still attracts millions of tourists every year. Tourists on holiday in Bali are attracted by the mystique, charm and grace with a predominance of traditional Hindu culture, spectacular tropical jungles, mountains and beautiful beaches. Many tourists especially from nearby Australia and Singapore travel to Bali to dive. Bali is well known for its excellent diving underwater.

Diving in Bali can expect to encounter amazing underwater scenery, as well as observation of a wide range of marine creatures in the sea. Let's visit some places to scuba dive Bali.

Amed Jemeluk and beaches are half past one in Denpasar. Denpasar is a popular tourist destination in the coastal city of many great hotels, resorts and nightlife. divers must be very experienced, present here can be very powerful. However, diving here can be very exciting, both inshore reefs, reef slopes and drop and majestic wall dives. visibility of the water can be considered a good average. To add a final touch, diving is one of the best hard coral communities in Bali.

Tulamben Wreck Dive is a must for divers to enjoy scuba diving wreck. Water visibility here is good and is just the current, delicate. Night dive on the wreck are often described as breathtaking.

Wreck, the USS Liberty, who met his fate in 1942 when a Japanese torpedo launched from a submarine in the Second World War has been the goal.

And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.  The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water.  This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor.  This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

You’ll hone your skills by completing five adventure dives that introduce you to:

• Underwater navigation 
• Deeper water diving  (typically anywhere from 18-30 metres/ 60-100 feet)
• A sampler of three more Adventure Dives of your choice
